On the banks of the Sorgue River, with its monumental paddlewheels that have been turning since the 18th century, the Grand Hôtel Henri boasts 230 years of history and three generations of the family. Julien Toppin, grandson of Henri, who made the establishment a mecca for Provencal holidaymakers in the 1970s, now perpetuates the art of entertaining in this fully renovated old building. The 17 rooms offer a world where history meets pure French style: solid oak, hand-woven linen and white Carrara.
