It's impossible to pass through Lille without noticing the Bellevue: enthroned on the Grand'Place, it remains the only hotel to offer a direct view of the goddess, almost intimidating as she approaches from the windows. A rare privilege that attracts families on weekends and business travelers on weekdays. Created in 1913 in a 16th-century building, the hotel reopened in 2024 after a major renovation. The 70 rooms, sober but punctuated with elegant details, come in a variety of configurations, some with a mezzanine to accommodate friends or tribes. But it's on the roof that the real metamorphosis takes place: the Café Bellevue. This rooftop restaurant, open to all, with its indoor and outdoor terraces, has established itself as one of Lille's new hotspots. Here, you can enjoy breakfast, tea time or a drink at sunset, while taking in a unique panorama of the city's beating heart.
