Gault&Millau's review 2025

Regularly voted best hotel in the world by the international press, this palace, inaugurated in 1928, combines all the best features: 244 luxurious rooms and suites in the Louis XVI style designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, a 720 m2 spa refreshed by a 17 m-long swimming pool, three of the capital's most prestigious restaurants - Le Cinq, L'Orangerie and Le George - all set around a delightful inner courtyard. Scattered throughout the palace, Jeff Leatham's sumptuous floral arrangements mark the personality of the premises, a perfect blend of refinement and whimsy that makes this one of the capital's most seductive hotels. Last but not least, a special mention must go to the tea time, which sublimates Parisian patisserie, served in the lounges or under the glass roof of L'Orangerie (our favorite spot), which opens onto the light-filled patio.
