We choose the Epona Hôtel in Sens above all for its breathtaking view of the majestic Saint-Etienne Cathedral, a 12th-century Gothic jewel overlooking the Yonne River. The river winds its way through the Burgundy city, 110 kilometers from the capital. Ideally located right in the center of town, this 4-star establishment boasts 58 rooms and suites, with sleek, wood-paneled custom furnishings, top-of-the-range bedding and Rituals courtesy products.
