Prestige Hotel We choose the Epona Hôtel in Sens above all for its breathtaking view of the majestic Saint-Etienne Cathedral, a 12th-century Gothic jewel overlooking the Yonne River. The river winds its way through the Burgundy city, 110 kilometers from the capital. Ideally located right in the center of town, this 4-star establishment boasts 58 rooms and suites, with sleek, wood-paneled custom furnishings, top-of-the-range bedding and Rituals courtesy products. Behind its façade and cobbled courtyard, the hotel reveals other resources, such as a bistronomic restaurant, a cosy bar, a gym and flexible reception areas. But its greatest asset remains its roof terrace, the most beautiful and spectacular in Sens: a unique spot to sip a cocktail facing the illuminated silhouette of the cathedral.
