Gault&Millau's review 2025

It's the largest golf course in the region, and undoubtedly the most beautiful. Set in the heart of a 330-hectare park, the estate is none other than the former stronghold of the governors of the Dombes region, who made their home here in the sumptuous Château du Breuil, built in the Middle Ages. The estate, now a member of the Collectionneurs, now offers 53 rooms and suites in the château's former outbuildings, as well as the La Table du Gouverneur restaurant, serving bistronomic cuisine. But first and foremost, visitors come here to discover the exceptional golf courses that host prestigious competitions, not to mention 9 practice holes that enable amateurs of all levels to practice in this rare natural setting.
