Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the heart of the Perche region, this 17th-century hamlet of 5 discreet, elegant buildings has been transformed into a guest house, much to the delight of its loyal guests, who come for a weekend. Purity and refinement are the order of the day here, as evidenced by the decor of the 10 rooms, which feature old terracotta floor tiles, exposed beams and furniture sourced from the region's (many) antique dealers. The 8-hectare park is a perfect invitation for long walks in the forest, vegetable garden and orchard. After the stroll, head to the large table to enjoy "sustainable, seasonal and rustic" cuisine.
