This beautiful venue is, first and foremost, a piece of history. Housed in a building constructed in 1912 to become the largest casino in Europe, the site served successively as a museum and a health resort before falling into a long period of decline. Restored in 2012, it was reborn as a sumptuous hotel, designed by architect Jean-Philippe Nuel in the tradition of Belle Époque palaces, with the added touch of contemporary comfort. Overlooking the sea, the lobby has retained its huge floor-to-ceiling windows and now features striped fabrics and curtains, evoking the spirit of beach cabanas. This nautical style is carried throughout the 103 rooms and 6 suites, which are adorned with mother-of-pearl chandeliers, beautiful printed fabrics inspired by the building’s historic frescoes, and bathrooms featuring walk-in showers. Equally appealing, the restaurant La Galerie offers creative and healthy cuisine, including low-calorie dishes for spa guests. The perfect vacation destination, the hotel also charms guests with its 2,500 m² thalassotherapy center: some thirty treatment rooms spread across three floors, comprehensive programs combining marine treatments, fitness classes, and consultations with dietitians or sophrologists, making it one of the most sought-after destinations for wellness and fitness.
