Gault&Millau's review 2025

A member of the Evok hotel group (already owner of the glamorous Brach and Sinner hotels), this boutique hotel, which opens in 2019, has been added to a collection that focuses on the uniqueness of each location. This time, it's an intimate and confidential refuge, nestled in a 17th-century listed building. Conceived as a luxury guest house, it houses 12 rooms and suites designed by decorators Yann Le Coadic and Alessandro Scotto, who have respected the authenticity of the site while infusing a few touches of modernity here and there (terracotta tiles, azure tapestries, stainless steel tables), all benefiting from a rare privilege: an extraordinary view over Place des Vosges and the foliage of Square Louis-XIII. Other highlights include a spa with Roman bath and La Colline treatment rooms, as well as a table offering light fare and the Brach-La Pâtisserie corner, where you can sample the creations of Yann Brys, Meilleur ouvrier de France.
