Gault&Millau's review 2025

Lovers of Provence swear by this beautiful address, set in 7 hectares of meadows and hills with the famous Montagne de Lure as a backdrop. Converted into a hotel in 1975, the former 18th-century bastide has retained its thick walls and traditional ochre tones, and offers the charm of its 25 spacious, comfortable rooms. Owners Boris and Martin Berger also offer fully-equipped mini-apartments, with a small kitchen for preparing a light meal on your return from the market. The nearby village of Forcalquier, with its citadel, plane tree-shaded square and unmissable pétanque court, can be explored on foot or by bike before a stroll through the garrigues. The hotel, which has the "expert accueil vélo" label, offers all the necessary services.
