Gault&Millau's review 2025

Just 20 minutes from Honfleur, this address is first and foremost noteworthy for its location. Set on the Risle river island, the establishment is surrounded by a park designed in the early 20th century by landscape architect Édouard André. Shaded by tall trees, the estate comprises the main building, built in 1856, and an orangery topped by a roof terrace, all of which house 28 rooms and suites of hushed elegance (thick carpets, floral curtains and luxury bedding). With the well-being of its guests in mind, the hotel offers a complete spa with indoor pool, hammam, sauna, massage and fitness rooms. Perfectly revitalized, all that's left to do is head to the restaurant to sample Armand Malandain's cuisine, served on the terrace overlooking the park as soon as the weather warms up.
