Ideal for a weekend in the countryside, this hotel was built in the former home of Henri Gault (founder of the Gault&Millau guide!). The owners have kept the family home feel, with antique furniture and tartan fabrics in the 16 rooms, some of which open onto a small patio. We particularly like those with a small terrace overlooking the Eure, a river whose banks can also be followed from the hotel. A confidential, bucolic address, with a special mention for the riverside restaurant, which serves delicious home-from-market cuisine.
