Gault&Millau's review 2025

This new-generation hostel is a welcome alternative to the region's fairly traditional hotel scene. Located on Bidart's central square, Koskenia brings together a community of hikers, surfers, families and locals who come to enjoy the hostel's relaxed atmosphere, with its café, simple but delicious restaurant, open stage for concerts, debates or tastings, coworking space, and even a small grocery store stocked with local produce and handicrafts. For travelers, the place offers 8 rooms (including some family rooms: 2 for 4 people, 3 for 6) with private bathrooms. A no-frills place, perfect for a stay with family or friends.
