Gault&Millau's review 2025

Dijon's new lifestyle address, the Aloft, has moved into the iconic Hôtel des Postes, a 1907 Haussmann masterpiece designed by Louis Perreau. Just a stone's throw from the Dukes' Palace, the Musée des Beaux-Arts and the Philippe le Bon Tower, this 4-star hotel breathes a breath of modernity into the historic center, with its 94 contemporary rooms, signature fragrance and open spaces designed for conviviality. In the W XYZ Bar, cocktails, music and impromptu games of table soccer are the order of the day. For relaxation, head for the open-access spa with Jacuzzi, hammam and sauna, or the light-filled indoor pool. Active travelers will appreciate the fitness room. A local touch remains in the Horloge suite, which houses an old church mechanism from Tonnerre - a discreet nod to Burgundy in a resolutely international decor. Four-legged friends are also welcome.
