Gault&Millau's review 2025

Following on from Les Hortensias du Lac, the Domaines de Fontenille collection once again invites itself to the Landes region with the revitalization of the former golf hotel in Seignosse. Nestled between valleys and pinewoods dotted with evergreen oaks, the dark-green mansion is reminiscent of the lodges of the great American forests. The 32 rooms and suites are decorated with colorful flat tints, designer hanging lamps, photographs and lithographs by artist Supakitch, all lit by large bay windows that open onto the canopy. On the first floor, the lounges reflect the same spirit of golf and surfing, with a cheerful vintage decor, close to the bar and the restaurant, which extends onto a terrace and treats guests to a cuisine combining seafood and South-Western specialties. Last but not least, a large swimming pool and preferential access to the Seignosse golf course.
