The nose reveals ample notes of caramelized brown sugar, dried apricot, vanilla, blond tobacco, forest walk and jasmine bouquet. The palate takes us to a balanced whole where roundness and alcohol come together to give a warm, muscular rum that nonetheless retains plenty of elegance, gourmandise and even a touch of acidity. The liquorice and eucalyptus finish carries us away. A powerful rum, yet soft and full of light.
