Under the scaffolding, hopefully temporarily, Toraya continues to introduce Parisians and tourists to the delicacy of Japanese pastry. Yokan (azuki paste gelled with agar) are available, as are monakas (wafers), and the seasonal specialties are delicious. Summertime ice creams are also highly sought-after, of course, accompanied by Japanese tea. Lunch menus are also available, to be enjoyed on site.
