Pastry Sadaharu Aoki opened his first Parisian boutique in 2001. Prepared with ingredients from the French terroir, his pastries subtly incorporate Japanese products. Bambou, for example, is a green tea opera; Matcha Azuki, a green tea-red bean cake; and the classic macaroons are combined with tea, puffed rice, wasabi or Japanese black pepper.
