Friends coming to visit? You're bound to take them to Meert, for a waffle, to wait in line for a free seat in the salon, and to sample one of the delicious pastries in this unmissable, historic setting: moelleux citron chocolat, tartelette framboise, safari au chocolat.... Meert, the indispensable institution on rue Esquermoise, which we love just about everything about, despite prices that can be a little scary.
