Wine merchant Founded in 1937, Maison Lemaître, with its 5,000 items on 250m2 premises, is part of Nantes' heritage, and doesn't go unnoticed in the Rue de la Paix! This veritable Ali Baba's cave relies on a rigorous selection of products from the three provinces of Anjou, Brittany and Vendée (for example, sardines from Rodel or salicornes from Brittany), as well as cheeses from Janier in Lyon, charcuterie from all over the world such as Spanish Bellotta, Harneys&sons teas, coffees ground on site and, of course, terrines, rillettes and other preserved vegetables and meats. A visit to the cellar is a must, with its wide selection of wines and spirits from all over the world.
