The shop, which opened three years ago, is a real hidden gem in the heart of Krutenau, on this lively street lined with shops and restaurants. Opened by Jean-Michel Obrecht, a renowned market gardener from Handschuheim, about fifteen kilometers from Strasbourg, his shop is a little journey back in time, with its magnificent wood-paneled facade and an interior reminiscent of a flea market, where vintage finds (available for purchase) mingle with his selection of fruits and vegetables. In the crates, you’ll find Akane apples, flat peaches, quetsches, strawberries, mirabelle plums, grapes, as well as numerous gourmet deli items from here and abroad.
