Winemaker
The Vignerons de Buzet winery was born of the desire of a handful of winegrowers to put the Buzet appellation back on the French wine map, after its virtual disappearance following the ravages of phylloxera. In 1953, when it was created, the vineyard was classified as a VDQS and became an AOC in 1973. The wines are of excellent quality. Today, the vineyards cover almost 2,000 ha between the Garonne river and the Landes forest, and 70% of production is red wine.
