Chocolate factory Nicolas Haag's workshop is located in Plachy-Buyon (where orders can be picked up), but it's on boulevard Faidherbe, in the heart of Amiens, that gourmands gather to discover the latest creations of the man who says he always knew he'd be a pastry chef-chocolatier. Almond pastes, ganaches, pralines and candied fruits are all "homemade", the chocolates are distinguished by their elegance and character, and the pastries rival each other in deliciousness. A particular favorite is the gâteau battu, the regional specialty.
