In its workshops, Comptoir des Flandres perpetuates traditional recipes: "Gaufrettes Amusantes", their speciality, and Eugène Blond's filled waffles, Cambrai's "bêtises", pure butter cookies from La Dunkerquoise... Two other factory outlets allow you to shop (in Bergues and Cambrai) and leave with your arms full of sweets. There's an attractive selection of tin boxes, illustrated with posters advertising the Compagnie du chemin de fer du Nord. Practical for storing dry cakes.
