Tea shop La Route du Thé is an atypical place: French-style ceilings, wall-to-wall carpets, a hushed atmosphere with indirect lighting on the tea tins... It's a lovely choice for continuing a route you'll probably never take. What's the point, anyway, since the team travels around and buys from the planters? Whether Chinese, Indian, Japanese or English, here tea is a plant elevated to cult status.
