Winemaker
The Domaine Jean Trapet has been operating in Gevrey-Chambertin for over a century, and is one of the great names in this appellation. Today, Jean-Louis Trapet is the heir to the estate, assisted by his wife and two sons. The estate's 16 ha have been biodynamic since 1995. The domaine's wines are among the emblems of Gevrey-Chambertin, noted for their smoothness and softness. The Trapet family also welcomes guests to their table and chambres d'hôtes.
