Winemaker
Dominique Méneret had owned the 27-hectare Domaine de Couteilac since 1997. He sold it to a Chinese company, but retains distribution rights. Over the past 20 years, he has succeeded in making it a benchmark in the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, under the direction of Stéphane Derenoncourt. The wines enjoy perfect consistency, and almost always stand out in blind tastings.
