Gault&Millau's review

Winemaker The Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur, located in Volnay, is mainly established in the communes of Volnay and Meursault. It comprises 13.55 ha for 17 cuvées, 40% of which are Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir. François Bitouzet has been in charge of the estate since 2005. His father, Vincent, brought rigorous organic farming to the estate. François continues this struggle with integrated farming, with a return to tillage and perfectly ripe grapes. The domaine exports many of its wines.
