Gault&Millau's review

Winemaker The Berthoumieu estate lies on the edge of the Gers, on the land of Charles de Batz, a Gascon better known as d'Artagnan, the model for Dumas' famous hero. Claire and Marion Bortolussi have been managing this beautiful estate since 2016. Their ambition was to perpetuate the work of Didier Barré, the emblematic former owner. The vineyard is rich in several grape varieties and distinct terroirs. The vineyard covers 25.5 ha, with vines ranging in age from 10 to 100 years.
