Chocolate factory What would have become of the Nemours poppy recipe without the house of Des Lis? The famous specialty, created in the 19th century from hand-picked wild flowers, was revived in the confectionery in 1996, and even inspired a range of products with original flavors: poppy-flavored chocolate bars or palets, bite-sized treats flavored with spices, citrus or herbs such as chili, black olive or pepper, barley sugar and a more classic range of chocolate bonbons.
