Description
Confectionery Almost 40 years old, this soon-to-be institution is a must-visit address in Royan, a kind of beacon when you arrive at the port of this dynamic town. Today, Reynald Dupuy and his wife Sophie are at the helm of this fine family-run business, offering nuggets of today's flavors while successfully preserving the authenticity of the classics of yesteryear. The House still offers its historic confections, such as almond nougatine, hard and soft nougat, unforgettable berlingots and some fifteen licorices. Confiserie Dupuy itself produces the 30 or so ice creams and waffles on the menu. Customers will undoubtedly appreciate the fleur de sel caramel ice-cream or the watermelon and lime ice-cream: two of the best-sellers of this fine establishment. Madeleine de Proust guaranteed.
