Winemaker In 1992, Claudie and Bruno Bilancini took over the ruined Tirecul vineyard in the Bergerac region, having spotted the enormous potential of this terroir. They took Château Tirecul La Gravière well beyond the pinnacle of the Monbazillac appellation. The estate began using organic methods in the vineyard and cellar in 2006, and their Cuvée Madame is considered one of the world's finest sweet wines.
