Winemaker
Located in the Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux region, the Château Fontbaude vineyard has been in existence for over 50 years. In 1968, François Sabaté bought the first 4 hectares of vines on the estate. The estate, which now boasts some 20 hectares certified organic since 2009, is now run by his sons Christian and Yannick. Benefiting from an oceanic climate with warm summers, the vineyard faces due south on the slopes.
