Winemaker
Château de Chamilly, in Mercurey, was built in the 17th century. In the early 19th century, the Desfontaine family acquired the château and surrounding land. Véronique Desfontaine has been at the helm of the estate since 1999. In 2007, she was joined by her two sons, Xavier and Arnaud. In 2008, they bought Château de Cary Potet in Buxy. Together, they manage a 30-hectare vineyard in the Mercurey and Montagny appellations. A visit is a must!
