Famous since the 18th century, Château Berliquet is one of Saint-Émilion's oldest crus, and one of the most famous in the 19th century. On the Magdelaine plateau, between Canon and Bélair-Monange, this discreet Saint-Emilion Grand Cru estate boasts a first-rate terroir. Little known to the general public, it is, on the other hand, well known to insiders. It is the Wertheimer family, owners of Canon, who acquired it in 1997, who could develop the estate, currently known for its finesse, aromatic detail and mineral tension.
