Following in the footsteps of the ballroom founded by his father in 1948, Daniel Lauth took over the village microbrewery that supplied the venue in 1997. Scharrach beer was born, in two annual cuvées: blonde and amber, as well as seasonal creations such as the "Pils de Scharrach" and the "blanche" and "noire de Scharrach".
