Bakery Carton's baguette is crumbly... golden brown and crunchy. With its seeded coating, it never ceases to please. But the range as a whole has a lot going for it. Traditional spelt-rye, cranberry-pistachio-hazelnut or strawberry-raspberry bread... prove that variety is on the menu, and so is creativity. Vanilla-raspberry macaroon lollipops and fruit tarts, on the sweet side, are not short of gourmet delights. 2nd address at 6 rue de Buci (16th).
