In Genas, a pretty store on the village square, with a bright, contemporary window display. The display is well organized and there's a huge choice. The classic baguette is exemplary, well baked, with a fresh white crumb that tears well. The crust is dry and crisp just right. The traditional and special wholemeal breads are equally good. A lovely quiche with olives, tomatoes and feta, quite original, with a well-balanced filling.
