Gault&Millau's review

Chocolate factory It's almost a monument that's a must-visit, so much so that it represents, in its architecture and interior design, the very best of tradition. For over a century, on the corner of rue Royale, the house has welcomed tourists from all over, as well as locals, for its chocolates and pastries, and numerous specialties, such as Cloche d'Annecy, Roseaux and Palet Royal. Among our favorites, the famous Caribbean chocolate Alhambra. There's also an on-site tea room, where you can sample the boutique's "old-fashioned" hot chocolate at €5.70.
